At the Mayfield and Five Ashes Parish Council meeting of 27 January 2020, it was RESOLVED to seek the approval of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government to apply for a PWLB loan of £2.35M up to 25 years for the construction of a community hall. The annual loan repayments will come to around £130,883. It is also intended to increase the precept for the purpose of the loan repayments by 122% which is the equivalent of an additional £130,883 a year.
