It is with great pleasure that we can announce the ‘Outstanding’ result of our recent SIAMS inspection which was conducted by the Diocese of Chichester. The inspection examined how we meet the needs of all learners and how our Christian ethos supports and nurtures individuals. Our inspector was very thorough, she spoke with parents, children and Governors. She also watched teaching and collective worship and looked at the quality of our children’s work.

This outcome was reached by strong and dedicated team work. We are so incredibly lucky that our school team consists of a highly committed, super talented, supportive and caring group of people. We are all very proud of the report and feel is a true and accurate reflection of our whole school community; the Governors, the staff, the parents and most importantly our children.

Our Inspector enjoyed her time at Five Ashes and commented on how she was warmly welcomed by everyone. She also informed us that this was the first ‘Outstanding’ grade that she had ever issued, which made us even more proud of our achievement.
