The architect is continuing to produce suitable design options and a quantity surveyor has been appointed who will liaise with the architect so as to ensure appropriate designs are produced which can then be shared with residents.

Various consultants are now being deployed to advise on different key issues (e.g. ecology and highways) following advice from the Wealden District Council Planning Department so as to ensure that the latter’s requirements are met for when a planning application is made.

While COVID increased build and raw material costs, and have rather impacted our original timetable, we feel we are slowly getting back on track and hope to be able to share the new designs with residents towards the end of the summer.
