We are thrilled to be holding a launch party for the Community play, to be held at the Memorial Hall from 5pm to 6:30pm on Saturday 27th January 2018. So please do come along to find out what’s happening and how you can get involved. There will be drinks and nibbles, and a chance to share ideas to help develop the story. Also you will be able to meet the playwright, Suzi Hopkins, and the director, Stephen Israel, who will be there to talk about the project and answer questions.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

We are planning a variety of free workshops, open to everyone who wants to get involved with the Community Play either acting or behind the scenes – for example, helping with costumes, props, lighting, tickets or publicity.

Do come along to a series of two workshops if you think you want to act or the first of each pair if you want to help behind the scenes:

• Either Tuesday 20th February and Tuesday 27th February Mayfield Memorial Hall from 7pm to 9pm
• Or Monday 26th February and Monday 5th March, Skippers Hill School, from 7pm to 9pm.
• If you would like to attend with your children, come along to the special workshop on Monday 12th March Mayfield Primary School from 5pm to 7pm (every under 16 year old will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian/responsible adult)

Then there will be a big get together for everyone who has taken part in the earlier workshops, to set us on our way: Monday, 19th March, St Dunstan’s
Church, 7pm to 9pm.
