Sussex Police have reported that on Tuesday a male approached a property in Mayfield claiming to be from Southern Water and stated he was there to change the locks on the Southern Water meter door. When the resident called Southern Water, they stated there were no such works going on in that area on that day.

Please be vigilant and pass the message on to any neighbours whom you think might be targeted.
